Bangladesh reports sixth COVID-19 death


Dhaka, Apr 1 (IANS): Bangladesh reported the sixth death from COVID-19 on Wednesday.

Three more cases were confirmed, bringing the total to 54, according to Health Minister Zahid Maleque, xinhua news agency reported.

"One more COVID-19 patient has died in Bangladesh while three new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours," he said.

Bangladesh on March 25 announced the country's fifth death related to COVID-19.

Of the total 54 cases, 26 patients have recovered so far.
