Himachal to make appointments of health workers


Shimla, Apr 3 (IANS): The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet on Friday decided to make appointments of medical and para-medical staff on an outsource basis for three months in the health department.

It also directed to purchase necessary equipment for the protection of health officials.

It gave its approval for making Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College at Ner Chowk in Mandi as dedicated hospital for COVID-19.

To boost industrialization, the Cabinet decided to provide incentives and concession or reduction in stamp duty as well as registration fee under the Himachal Pradesh Industrial Investment Policy of 2019.

Now the micro, small and medium enterprises having investment up to Rs 10 crore in plant and machinery in case of manufacturing enterprises or having investment up to Rs 5 crore in equipment in case of specified category of service enterprises would be charged concessional rate of stamp duty and registration fee at 50 per cent, 30 per cent and 10 per cent of applicable rates in category 'A', 'B' and 'C' areas respectively on instrument of conveyance deed or lease deed.
