14 more test positive, total rises to 92 in J&K

Jammu, Apr 4 (IANS): 14 more tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday in J&K raising the number of COVID-19 patients to 92.

Figures posted by the J&K information department said 14 more have tested positive today in the Valley taking the total to 92 in the union territory.

Earlier, three persons had tested positive in Udhampur district of Jammu division.

Of the 92 positive cases, four have recovered completely while two succumbed to the dreaded virus.

Thus the number of active coronavirus cases is 86 out of which 68 are in the Valley and 18 in the Jammu region.

Total number of persons enlisted so far for observation in J&K was 28,545 out of which 10,606 were under home quarantine, 682 under hospital quarantine.

4,376 persons have completed surveillance and 12,795 are still under home quarantine.

1,397 samples have been tested so far out of which 1,250 have tested negative.
