Bengal students to have classes on DD


Kolkata, Apr 4 (IANS): With all schools closed till April 15 on account of the Covid 19 outbreak, the West Bengal education department has decided to give homework to students on its website and arranged for classes on DD Bangla channel for those studying from standard IX to XII.

Such classes will be held from April 7 to 13 between 4 PM and 5 PM, said state education minister Partha Chatterjee.

Reputed teachers from leading schools will conduct the classes. The students can mail or WhatsApp if they have doubts.

The homework will be checked the teachers once schools reopen.
