IB office in Bhubaneswar sealed, staff in quarantine


Bhubaneswar, Apr 7 (IANS): All employees of the Central Intelligence Bureau (IB) office in Bhubaneswar have been asked to remain in home quarantine after one employee came in contact with a COVID-19 positive patient, said an official on Tuesday.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has also sealed the IB office.

The IB office located at the R.N. Singhdeo Marg in Bhubaneswar has been sealed for a period of 14 days from April 6 to April 19.

"All employees have been kept under home quarantine and their swab samples sent for testing," informed BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chuadhary.
