Delhi Minister to donate one-month salary to CM relief fund


New Delhi, Apr 7 (IANS): Delhi Cabinet Minister Gopal Rai on Tuesday said hat he will be donating a month's salary to the Chief Minister Relief Fund to help in the fight against coronavirus.

Rai, the Cabinet Minister having Employment, Development, Labour, General Administration Department, Environment, Forest and Wild Life, made the announcement on Twitter.

"I am paying my one-month salary in the CM Relief Fund to support the '5T Action Plan' created by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to fight against Corona (COVID-19)," Rai said in Hindi.

Delhi so far has reported more than 500 positive cases of coronavirus with the government gearing up to cope with more numbers.
