Quarantined man commits suicide in Bihar: Police


Darbhanga, Apr 13 (IANS): A man quarantined in Bihars Darbhanga district allegedly hanged himself to death on Monday, a police officer said.

Vinod Kumar, 50, was quarantined in a middle school in Kamroli since April 10 when he arrived from Delhi, said Simri Bazar SHO Harikishore Yadav.

He said Vinod allegedly hanged himself with a towel from a window bar in his room where he was staying alone. Two other persons were quarantined elsewhere in the school.

Villagers said that Vinod's wife is still in Delhi. Senior police officers visited the spot after getting news of the death.
