Cops sent to quarantine in J&K's Kupwara after Covid case emerges


Srinagar, Apr 16 (IANS): A group of policemen at a police camp in Jammu & Kashmir's Kupwara have been kept under quarantine on Wednesday after a police officer's family member tested positive for coronavirus.

Sources said the officer and his family have been put in isolation while as the policemen who had come in contact with the officer have been put under quarantine.

Jammu and Kashmir reported 22 new Covid-19 positive cases on Wednesday, taking the total across the Union Territory to 300.
