Soldier killed in accidental firing in J&K's Kupwara


Srinagar, Apr 24 (IANS): A soldier was died on Friday in accidental firing in J&K's Kupwara district.

Police said Havaldar Rakesh Kumar of 8 Jat regiment was critically injured when his service rifle went off accidentally while he was cleaning it.

"He was immediately shifted to army's hospital in Drugmulla area where doctors said he was dead on arrival.

Police has registered a case.
