Sharjah: Free parking extended until June 30

Sharjah, May 3: As per reports parking in Sharjah will be free until June 30. Additional 3 months parking permit will be allotted to those who have subscribed to long-term parking permits.

Director-general of Sharjah Municipality, Thabit Salem Al Tarifi, said that the municipality has started resetting the parking meters today to dispense parking tickets after June 30.

This move will reduce financial burden on the residents during the coronavirus pandemic. According to the decision, parking in the emirate is free from April 1 to June 30.
