Symphony Muscat releases second song ‘Avoiponaa – A Tribute to Motherhood'

Media Release

Muscat, May 4: Symphony Muscat released its second original Konkani song 'Avoiponaa – A Tribute to Motherhood.' The band is drawn together by their passion for crafting original music and the common desire to sing something meaningful about the world we inhabit and people connected around. This expression led to dedicating a beautiful Konkani song 'Avoiponaa' to their listeners and subscribers who were eagerly waiting for the release.

The song portrays each stage of motherhood, the love, joy, patience and moral support every one received from their mothers. The song subtly transforms the qualities of a mother through expressive lyrics written by young and dynamic Sachin Joy Lobo. The soulful music has been composed by Triven Goveas and the vocals supported by well-known artists and gifted singers of Konkani music industry namely Joshal D’Souza, Babita Pinto, Akshada Taulaikar joined by Renita D’Souza and Juvan Sequeira.

The chorus was supported by Sachin Joy Lobo, Naveen Mathias, Ronson D’Souza and Errol Andrade.

Noted cinematographer and producer of Q films, Rolson (Taccode) Cardoza was instrumental in providing quality video showcasing the value and bond everyone cherishes with their mothers. He proved to be very a major support on all the videos delivered by Symphony.

About Symphony Muscat:

Symphony Muscat is a music-oriented group trying to modernise the Konkani music scene while keeping the essence and spirit of the language intact.

The founder, Sachin Joy Lobo in his words describes the journey, "It all began with a dream of creating a group of my own where we could change the face of Konkani music and after the discussion with my friend Triven Goveas, the leading music director, the new group was born."

In December 2019 the group was launched under the name 'Symphony' which refers to an 'elaborate musical composition relating to the sound of an orchestra.'

"My good friend and a choir lead, a seasoned and trained vocalist Renita D’Souza also joined the team along with Rolzon Cardoza a professional cinematographer. Our first original launch was ‘Khoro mog Khara’ which released in February 14, it was a song celebrating togetherness. It was well received and well appreciated by all our viewers and listeners around the globe as it was our first step towards making original music. It was also widely accepted by the Konkani and non-Konkani speaking individuals," he added.

"Symphony Muscat designed their own studio and produced original tracks and songs. We have been listening to music on love and betrayal as we wanted Konkani music to reach out to all genres of listeners and other musical platforms around the world. The dream is to change the view of Konkani music without changing the essence of it," Lobo said.

Thought-provoking song. On a soft and slow voice, the rendering is wonderful. Could not make out of the voice and images, the flow is so smooth and beautiful. All the best to the "Team Symphony". A passionate tribute to motherhood
