Saudi allows expatriates to travel back home

Riyadh, May 6: The Ministry of Interior, on Wednesday announced that the country will allow residents of all nationalities with valid visas to go back home if they wish to. They will have to register for the repatriation service 'Awdah' for the same.

The Ministry of Interior will allow residents holding visas (exit and return, final exit, visit of all kinds, tourism visa) to travel back to their countries by air by registering in 'Awdah' initiative launched earlier, and submitting return requests online via ‘Absher’ platform.

The ministry confirmed that once the countries approve reception of their citizens, the residents can depart to their countries from the following airports: King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, and Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah.
