Mangalore, Feb 4:
In a raid conducted at an office near Pumpwell in the City on Thursday February 4, District Crime Intelligence Bureau (DCIB) police arrested a person and seized fake police clearance certificates and education certificates that enabled aspirants fly abroad.

The arrested person identified as Thomas Prasad D’Souza (32) resident of Chembugudde near Tokkottu is the owner of Chinar Associates and Travels in Pumpwell here. During the course of his illegal business, he was successful in sending 53 people abroad by collecting Rs 90,000 each issuing fake documents.

The police seized grade test certificates, police clearance certificates, cheque books and pass books apart from fake LPG connection cards, computers, scanner, printer, hard disc, pendrive and Rs 21,325 from his office. The immigration officer K M Chandrashekar sent the documents to superintendent of police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwar Rao. Taking over the case, DCIB soon investigated into the case and found Chinar associates and travels to be the agency in the racket.

The fake education certificates were produced in the name of Industrial Engineering Institute near Mulky and Dadar in Mumbai, where as police clearance certificates were issued under the letter heads of Government of India, Ministry of External Affairs - Passport offices in various centres across India. In all 12 blank education certificates and 15 fake certificates under the letter heads of passport office in Bangalore, 9 in Chennai, 11 in Visakapatanam, 11 in Tiruchanapalli and 6 to Kozhikode offices were found, informed Venkaesh Prasanna. Mr A Dcunha shenoy... I am educated enough to work in Australia and thankfully I am what I wanted to be... Not something what my parents wanted to be as a competition to the neighbors or relatives to keep a high nose in the society, regardless of whether their sons and daughters like it or not! Neither did I produce any Dodgy certificates to get in here because, I am a full time christian and its against my faith to provide dodgy things because,

I know its not the will of God to do so. I am not here to judge who is good in spelling and grammar! The inventions and names behind say the truth. What I wanted to convey is that, when we have a nation filled with corruption, why blame others and matter of fact I wrote a nice reply to your queries but it wasn't published as it was truth and truth has no way in a corrupted world. If you have any queries about the people of Australia than join orkut and I will explain.. Find me as Sunil Farias, Brisbane

Mr. Shahnawaz, I think you should refrain from making references to attacks on religious places while responding to this particular article. We cannot say one crime is better than the other. All crimes need to be dealt with appropriately and the law of the land will take its course. Lets not judge which crime is bigger or which one is worst. All crimes are bad and all need to be condemned

I think there is a difference between Mr. Thomas Prasad D'Souza who was running an overseas recruitment office as a businessman with an Corporation issued Trade Certificate and some Agents who dupes the innocent people and fled the place. Some years back an Agent came to Mangalore, stayed in Moti Mahal and took lakhs of rupees from job aspirants and fled the place - Police could not catch him.

At least Mr. Thomas Prasad has not fled but still running the business and may be helping his clients with proper paper work as the job and as per the Employer's demands. If he sends people abroad on fake visa's then only, he needs to be punished.

To all those cribbing that Sunil(Qatar)used his service and fled mangalore let me share with u all my experience. Even after having an engg degree i was told at every interview that there were better candidates than me and i worked for 4000 rupees in 1999. Today i earn six figures in the USA because i knew i was worth more that 4000 rupees . By the way Indian education system sucks its just like a factory were dumb students without common sense are mass produced.

Sunil F, Brisbane. Do you know how many Australians cant read or write includng Americans? Please take a statistic for your learning. Perhaps you have migrated to Australia that does not mean you are educated. While condemning India education, make sure you have facts. Perhaps you were qualified to be taken into HIGH STANDARD Australia or did you fake your credentials. I am just making a point.

Note this Uncivilized and Dangerous Comment: Sunil, Belman/Qatar Friday, February 05, 2010 I am his customer. I am very thankfull to him. He made me qualified in job what i am doing right now in Qatar. My life was miserable in Mangalore while i was doing same job (aircondition servicing) in Mangalore. Any objections???

I feel the said person should be put behind bars for his action and comment.

DCIB should also note the details of 53 People who went overseas illegally and should be arrested on arrival at any Indian Airport including Sunil if he has adopted the same method. Their passport should be confiscated and cancelled immediately.

Daijiworld should write to DCIB about sunil who has openly said that he has used the services of Thomas to go to Qatar. He should be thoroughly investigated. If Sunil says that his life in Mangalore was horrible then he is responsible for it as he might not have been honest to his work. Just as he says he is proud of what he has done then I feel he must be proud of many illegal work he could be doing in Qatar.

Dear Ms. Flavy, Sunil might have done this for his living, for supporting his family. Had'nt he done this he and his family would have struggled. I have a simple question for you. Were you willing to help Sunil and his family if he had not taken help from Thomas. It doesnt really matter if some one does a wrong thing in order to do 10 good things. If someone has a fake Doctors certificate i will strongly condemn. i hope u all got my message.

Mr. Sunil, Belman/Qatar, As an example, Mr. Sunil has robbed money from the bank and nobody has caught him because of his robbing techniques. He will tell all other people about this technique or he will keep the technique for himself once his wealth is finished and will start again robbing. You should note that illegal cannot become legal, unrighteousness will not become righteousness.

Lawlessness cannot become a law. Adike kaddaroo Kalla, Aane kaddaroo Kalla. You have utilized this unrighteous person for your benefit and you are also a partaker in the crime thereby encouraging him as a customer. In the Proverbs it is written, wealth hastily gotten will not last long and will dwindle.

People from our land are masters in these things. They come here with doggy certificates, with doggy experience & serve as Doctors & when the Authorities try to verify the authenticity of the certificates, they have their own people working in Government sector! The cancer is not in this person but its from top to bottom & has spread to 1 Billion. How many of we have bribed a Indian Cop, when we were pulled over instead of getting it solved in the court! How many of us use short cuts instead of legal ways, in your daily routine! We take pride that 33% of American doctors are INDIAN & so in other places! They don't know that Indian educated doctors have to upgrade after coming to America & Australia as per the American & Australian standards.Majority of them are educated in their system. We take pride in being the worlds biggest English speaking nation, God knows what they speak when they come here! Now I know how they pass their English tests in IELTS India! We only discovered Zero & that's it! Rest were added by the rest of the world! We say world's first Uni was in India! All the inventions in the field of Science & Engineering were invented by the West! Here its hard to get Doggy certificates but unfortunately the Virus from back home is influencing the system. People like Naveen shetty are Just waiting for christian or Muslims to be caught,so that they can point & mock, as if they are all bunch of virgins & sons of mythological Harishchandra. Lets learn to eat a humble pie!
