Ministry confirms no on-campus learning for students yet in UAE

Abu Dhabi, Jun 10: The ministry of education (MOE), UAE took on to Twitter to clear the rumours about on-campus classes to resume from August 30.

The ministry tweeted on Tuesday June 9, stating, "The MOE denies what is being circulated that the next school year, starting August 30, will have school students attending campus. No decision has been taken yet on the matter and the nature of the learning process will be decided according to health developments and precautions," The MOE clarified.

Minister of education, Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, said that as per the calendar approved by the ministerial development council, the UAE academic year would begin from August 30 while the administrative, teaching and non-teaching staff will begin working from August 23.
