30 per cent of Sharjah govt employees tested for coronavirus: SHRD

Sharjah, Jun 16: As per the Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SHRD) 30 per cent of Sharjah government employees who returned to work were tested for coronavirus. To ensure safety of the employees, the tests exceeded over 5000 male and female employees, the SHRD stated.

The tests were held in cooperation with the Ministry of Health represented by Sharjah Medical District.

Dr Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, chairman of SHRD and member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, said that the test takes no more than five minutes.

The test results arrive within 72 hours and are sent via text message to the employee.
