Bengaluru, Jun 20: The state government of Karnataka has further relaxed lockdown restrictions. In its new order, the government has ordered that the parks, except those in containment zones, can be thrown open to be used by the public between 5 am and 9 pm. The order says that the timings of the park can be decided by the local city or municipal corporations.

At present, the public parks are kept open only between 7 am and 9 am and 4 pm to 7 pm.

The union home ministry had taken out a new guideline order on May 30 pertaining to the lockdown extension in containment zones. In that order the union home ministry had given opportunity for normalizing life in non-containment zones in phases. Accordingly, the state government had also taken out orders. Now, further relaxation is done on the public park opening timings.
