Mysuru: ‘Not many have died due to coronavirus in India, no need of lockdown’ – MP Pratap Simha

Daijiworld Media Network - Mysuru (MS)

Mysuru, Jun 25: BJP MP Pratap Simha said that there is no need for lockdown once again in the state. He questioned, "How many days are you going to make people sit at home? Life of people will get spoilt in the quest of saving lives. The situation is under the control of the government. There is no need to create panic unnecessarily."

"I feel that there is no need to impose lockdown once again. Government has to save lives. Experts had said that a lac of people will die in India due to COVID. Did anything of that sort happen? Nothing is going to happen even now," he said.

The MP further said, "The government has taken all precautions to control coronavirus. Modi government has considered all these factors while lifting the lockdown. There is a lot of difference between the situation prevailing in cities like Mumbai and Delhi when compared to Bengaluru. There is no need to impose lockdown in Karnataka."

Battre, It is not his fault. Its we/citizens of India Fault. We vote with out validating the credibility of the Candidate. We blindly go by Religion/Cast/Party/.
It kind of irresponsibility's can be eliminated, only we cast our vote with sincerity, development of our area in mind and good future of our country.

Let the Govt. set a criteria for all the elected representatives. if they dont pass the performance criteria, they should be penalized.

Its fine if lockdown is not imposed again, because it never stopped the rate of infections nor helped it decline (but slowed down its growth ). Also owing to the economic crisis its not viable to impose lockdown, but the many and persistent problem that prevails in india is that we are very ignorant about following safety protocols. Im not talking about everyone but these few people who beleive nothing would happen to them. Such ignorant people have significantly cintributed towards the covid 19 cases today. The govt can no more control us . This lockdown was to spread awareness about stopping large gatherings and mingling with sick people , but nothing of that sort happened . As the lockdown was lifted ,people just stopped caring about it as if it never existed. So its upon us to control this. Follow every safety protocol by the ministry and WHO and we will be able to control it and isolate it completely. However their decision to conduct exam is still not understood as it encourages a large gathering . Hope we isolate this invisible enemy through cooperation.

Never judge by death rate of virus but by infection rate. These infected people can kill more people who are very vulnerable. When there was no infection at all there was complete lock down and when there is high infection rate that is 4th in the world and 8th in death rate they are telling no lock down. Very good management of virus control in India.

In Karnataka BJP under the CM Yedurappa seems everybody is health minister just like PM Modi's central government different department issuing statements on behalf of other departments.

For this MP 15,000 deaths of Indians and active cases reaching nearly five lakh is small numbers. The daily new cases are already crossed 15,000 marks which can be in no time will reach 50,000 and by August expected to touch 2 lakh.

If there is no need to lock down then MP should finished all his pending projects and implement the central schemes.

Let the Parliament function back to its normal and see how many will attend the session.

Should the number of deaths or number of active cases getting doubled decide whether lockdown is to be imposed? The statement of the MP reflects he neither has common sense nor intelligence. He's playing with the lives of the common man.

    I agree.. lockdown unnecessary..

But impose section 144 so that crowds doesn't form.
    Ban public transport.
Ban movement of people between states etc.

Bring every district to green zone and then make entire country green zone
