Davangere: Woman Cop Found Dead

DHNS

Davangerea, Feb 24: Sub-Inspector Sushma of Honnali in Davangere passed the Karnataka Police Sub-Inspector Exam in the year 2007. She was appointed Sub-Inspector under Anekal police station crime branch last October after her training. She was also the in-charge of Sarjapur police station from past few days.

Police said Sushma was last seen in the Station at 3.30 pm on Monday and one of the policemen had spoken to her at around 5.30 pm. Colleagues visited her house on Tuesday morning when she did not turn up at the station and did not respond to phone calls. They found her lying in a pool of blood and a note purportedly written by her. The note states that no one is responsible for her death.

Sushma’s parents Ramakrishnappa and Hemavati said they did not have any inkling about their daughter’s intention. Ramakrishnappa, a inspector with KSRP, has alleged murder. He said Sushma had visited their house in Bangalore two-days ago.
