Mumbai / Udupi, Feb 24: A person of Uchila – Kaup origin and an employee of Rooyi International, a star hotel here died under mysterious circumstances on Monday February 22 night. 

The incident came to light on Tuesday February 23, when a person on morning walk located his dead body at Sakinaka here and informed the police control room. The deceased man has been identified as Uchila Prakash Salian (35). The police took his body to a hospital at Rajavadi and on postmortem a wound on the head has been found. 

One of Salian’s acquaintances was informed about his death after tracing a missed on call on the deceased's mobile phone. Salian was well built and could not be easily overpowered. However, the reason of his visit to Sakinaka on Monday late night and for his death is yet to be known.

Salian, who was earlier employed abroad in the above said group of hotels had return to Mumbai and working in their branch here. He was the resident of Mira Road here and returned home once a week.
