Udupi: Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital to Hold Workshop on Diabetes

Udupi, Feb 25: Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital, here will hold a workshop on 'Diet and Diabetes' in the hospital premises on Sunday February 28.

Sally, dietician of Justice K S Hegde Charitable Hospital, Mangalore will be the resource person. Free health check-up will be conducted for the diabetics during the workshop.

The hospital has been regularly conducting workshop on diabetes, its complications and management on fourth Sunday of every month. With diabetes emerging as a major healthcare problem in India, the hospital has taken an initiative to hold such workshops to create awareness about the disease.
