Moodbidri, Feb 26: For the first time ever, a mega job fair, Pragati will be held under the auspicious of Alva’s Education Foundation at Sundari Alva campus here on Friday February 26 and Saturday February 27.

Job fair  will see participation of over 32 companies and selection of candidates for over 3,000 jobs will be made during the fair.

The job aspirants who are degree holders can register for the fair on the spot. The aspirants are not restricted and are free to face the interview held by all the companies.

The companies Infosys, HDAFC, TATA, Wipro and Reliance among others will participate in the job fair. So far 2,000 job aspirants have registered and 3,000 more are expected to register.

Former MLA Amarnath Shetty will inaugurate the job fair on Friday at 10.00 am. Jayashree Amarnath Shetty, job fair co-coordinator Mahesh S and foundation trustee Vivek Alva will be the guests. College principal Kurian will preside.
