Kundapur: Blood Group Classification Camp Held

Kundapur, Feb 27: A camp named after Late Joseph Vaz for identifying the blood group of Catholic youth volunteers was held at the church hall here,recently under the joint auspices of Catholic Sabha, Gangolli and Chinmayee Hospital here.



Gangolli church priest Fr  Alfanso D’Lima inaugurated the camp.  Speaking on the occasion,  Fr D’Lima said importance of a thing is felt only when we feel the need for it the most and likewise when we see the injured struggling for life, only then we realize the importance and value of blood donation.

Catholic Sabha, Gangolli unit president A J Bothello presided. Helen Rebello, church secretary, Sowmya, Namitha Crasto of Chinmayee hospital,  Elroy Kiran Crasto, function convenor, Simon D’Souza, vice-president Catholic Sabha and Jenny Bothello were present.
