IYC appoints Rahul Rao national media in-charge

New Delhi, Jul 16 (IANS): The Indian Youth Congress (IYC), here on Thursday, appointed Rahul Rao as the national media in-charge.

"IYC president Srinivas B.V. and national in-charge and AICC joint secretary Krishna Allavaru appointed Rao as national media in-charge of the party's youth wing," the IYC said.

Rao, earlier the in-charge of the IYC's Shakti separtment, has also been NSUI's Haryana president. He was selected through a talent search programme that was started by former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi.
