Asif Ties the Knot With a Close Friend

Lahore, March 2 (IANS) Pakistan fast bowler Muhammad Asif has tied the knot with close friend Sana Hilal here.

The marriage ceremony was attended only by close relatives, a family source told IANS Tuesday.

No present and past cricketers were present at Asif's wedding.

The news came as a surprise as past reports claimed that Asif was seeing Pakistani film and TV star Veena Malik. Last May, there were media reports that Asif and Veena got secretly married in England.

The two denied the reports, though Veena admitted that they were close friends.
