M’lore: Police Tighten Security at Media Offices

Mangalore, Mar 4: Dr A Subrahmanyeshwar Rao, the district superintendent of police assured that the police will arrest the miscreants involved in the attack on newspaper offices within two days. He informed that the police have launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.

IGP Gopal B Hosur called a meeting of the representatives of all the media houses in the city on Wednesday March 3 and advice them to tighten their security arrangements. He suggested them to have CCTVs in the offices. Police have provided security to the prominent media offices from Wednesday and is alert to avert any untoward incidents in future. 

Rao said that the incident was totally unexpected and shouldn’t have taken place. “The police have found some clues of the attackers and thorough investigation is on to zero in the miscreants and their subsequent arrest”, he assured. We have traced the number of the vehicle used by the assailants, but the investigation has revealed that the number is fake and the owner of the vehicle too is clueless on his vehicle had been used for the purpose, he informed.
