Mangalore: Rama Sene leader Attavar Back to Police Custody

Mangalore, Mar 4: Arrested Sri Rama Sene leader Prasad Attavar has been handed over to three-day police custody from Wednesday March 3.

Earlier, Prasad, who was arrested by Kadri police on Monday March 1 for his alleged links with underworld don Ravi Poojary was sent to judicial custody for 15 days after he was produced before the judicial magistrate of third court in the city on Tuesday March 2. The Kadri police had requested the court on Tuesday to hand over the accused to their custody, which was rejected. 

The police requested the court on Wednesday again to grant his custody for interrogation, which was accepted by the court.
