CA N Ramananda Prabhu appointed as chairman of ICAI Muscat

Muscat, Jul 23: On July 1, CA N Ramananda Prabhu was appointed as chairman of the Muscat Chapter of The Chartered Accountants of India, at the first managing committee meeting after the conclusion of the annual general meeting. He is currently serving as the business head, representing Karnataka Wing of Indian Social Club, Sultanate of Oman for Oman-India Business Forum since December 2017.

CA N Ramananda Prabhu, son of Late N Pundalika Prabhu, hails from farmer’s family, Prabhu Keri, Naikanakatte, Byndoor Taluk. He did his schooling at Government Higher Primary School Naikanakatte and his high school from Khambadakone, Pre-University at Government Pre-University College, Uppunda. Prabhu did his graduation in BCom from Government First Grade College Byndoor in the year 1990. He then moved to Bengaluru to do his chartered accountancy course and then moved to Chennai, Mumbai, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman.

He has been actively involved in social service and has extended support to the Government Primary, High School, PUC, College and temples in and around Byndoor.

Praveen Kumar Shetty president, Alumni Association of Government First Grade College, Byndoor congratulated CA Prabhu and expressed his happiness on hearing the good news. "We need leaders like you to bring together all Indian chartered accountants community and work for the betterment of the Muscat Chapter of ICAI," Shetty said. He wished CA Prabhu and his executive committee a successful tenure ahead. He also maintained that it is a great honour for the college as one of its old students achieved a new milestone. "You will be a role model for our students and today marks the commencement of a new chapter in your life, but the journey never ends. Wherever this journey takes you, you will always be a member of the Government First Grade College community and a Byndoorian. You have made all the Byndoorians and all Kannadigas proud with this achievement. We will need your support to thrive and continually enhance the value of our student community. We appreciate all your support to the college and look forward to continued support and patronage in the days to come," Shetty said.
