Passengers travelling in Emirates airlines to get free COVID-19 test

Dubai, Jul 23: Passengers travelling on Dubai's flagship carrier Emirates would be getting the free cover of COVID-19 test.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman and CEO of Emirates airline said, "Emirates will be the first airline to offer free cover for COVID-19 medical costs for its customers when they travel in the UAE and around the world."

He said that the move would build the confidence of the travellers regarding their safety and trust. "This will boost travel confidence and once again positions Emirates and Dubai as aviation industry leaders," he said.

    A very positive step by Emirates Airlines which will help building passengers confidence. I think all airlines must do this, even if they include the testing charges to the passengers.
