M'lore: Kulshekar Catholic Sabha Celebrates Women’s Day with Cheshire Home Inmates

Mangalore, Mar 9:
Holy Cross parish-Kulshekar unit of Catholic Sabha celebrated International Women’s Day with the inmates of Cheshire Home, an orphanage for the destitute on Monday March 8.
 
The programme was organized with the view of motivating the physically challenged girls and women at Cheshire Home.


 
Local corporator Jacinta Boromio distributed fruits, rice, soaps, coconut oil, and other daily necessities to the inmates on the occasion.
 
Winny D’Souza, president, Kulshekar parish unit of Catholic Sabha, secretary Ronald Lobo, zonal representative Mildred Noronha, J B Noronha, Fatima Nazareth, Deena Saldanha, Benedicta Fernandes, Charles Rego, Natalia Pinto, and other members spent some time with the inmates.
