Udupi, Mar 15: Sri Vidyasagarateertha Swamiji of Krishnapura Mutt here, installed the golden aureole on the deities, Lord Mahalingeshwara  and Lord Ganapati, at the historically famous Mahalingeshwara Mahaganapati temple, located at Padubidri in the district on Monday March 14, by lighting the lamp in front of the temple flag pole.
 


Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Dharmadikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, temple hereditary trustee, Chandayya Arasu, Kinyakka Ballal, Padubidri P Ratnakar Raj, former state minister, Vasant V Salian, Deviprasad Shetty, Shashikant Padubidri, Y N Ramachandra Rao, Kornaya Sripathi Rao, Tantri Kambalakatte Radhakrishna Upadhyaya, chief priest Madhav Bhat, and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.
