Kasargod: Mother, son electrocuted after coming in contact with high-tension wire

Kasargod, Aug 21: In a tragic incident that occurred on the morning of Friday, August 21, mother and son duo got electrocuted as they came in contact with the live electricity wire that had fallen on the ground after getting snapped.

This mishap occurred at Varkady Bolanthakodi. The deceased are identified as Vijaya (35) and Ashray (6).

Ashray stepped on the electricity wire that was fallen on the ground. As he was writhing in shock, mother Vijaya tried to rescue him and got electrocuted in the process. Both died on the spot.

Manjeshwar police station personnel visited the spot and are taking further action.

    Sandesh Mangalore whether Mescom or kerala,matters little.Mescom too is same but negligence here is the cause two lives are gone.May their souls rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies tot he family.
