Bengaluru: 'No question of replacing Yediyurappa as CM' – Nalin Kumar Kateel

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Aug 25: Speaking to a Kannada newspaper on Monday August 24, BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, asserted that Yediyurappa will continue as chief minister (CM) for the full term and that he along with Yediyurappa will be jointly shouldering the responsibility of leading the party in the net assembly election.

Nalin denied the allegation that there is no coordination between the party and the government and the migrants are turning out to be the stumbling blocks for the progress of the loyal workers of the party. He stated that there is no difference between the loyalists and migrants and that there is no question of any party worker receiving step-motherly treatment.

About the alleged irregularities in acquisition of medical supplies relating to COVID, he reasoned that no such irregularities had happened and it was a ploy by Siddaramaiah to catch the limelight again as D K Shivakumar had surpassed him in terms of publicity.

He said that B L Santhosh is the national organizing secretary of the party and that he just guides the party and does not control it. He said that under the joint leadership of himself and Yediyurappa, the party will win 150 seat in the next assembly election. He explained that the party workers have worked under various service organizations by providing food and medicines to crores of people. He cited that the party has won bypolls and city corporation elections in Mangaluru and Davanagere, which means it continues to be popular among the masses. He said that meetings addressed by him everywhere had large crowds as compared to meetings addressed by other party leaders.

He appreciated the way the state government is being run and listed out the successful handling of the coronavirus situation, stopping of farmer suicides, avoiding scams and efficient tackling of flood situation as some of the achievements of the current state government.

BJP can't replace Yediyurappa for two main reason,
    1. BJP government will collapse straight away in Karnataka.
    2. He has record of all the donations made to people in authority.
