IAS officer Akshy Shridhar appointed Mangaluru City Corporation commissioner

Mangaluru, Aug 25: Young IAS officer Akshy Sridhar has been appointed as the new commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) replacing Ajith Kumar Hegde.

Ajith Kumar Hegde was transferred three weeks ago and since then the post remained vacant.

Akshy, who was the assistant commissioner Bidar sub division, will now be the new commissioner of MCC.

An engineering graduate from College of Engineering, Guindy, he had also served earlier as an assistant secretary in the Ministry of Food Processing Industries in New Delhi.

    City hall; Museums: Vidanasaudha..
    shopping malls..
    Entire buder stretch facing Arabian sea..
    should have neat High rise Sky lin elike Singapore.
    Build mangalore in Blocks.like UK..GERMANY.
    Avenues/streets..
    Neat and clean infrastructure..
    no crowding.
    simulate the on 3 D perspective plan. city model on computer and
    conductRoad shows.
    take suggestions from the professionals of managlore the JANATHA./Public
    who have travelled the world.
    Build Modern Structures with best quality and Finesse.
    modern architecture.

    Build the infra first.
    Like Railways: metro: shuttle: Cable cars..Trams..
    roads like in Spain...Italy.
    2/Industrial ware houses should be Pre engineered .prefab structures.
    3/ Build modern water transport system.
    4/Decentralise the Markets.. North/south/west/east..
    same like Dubai/sharjah.fish markets.
    5/Industrial Zon: belt: park: corridor
    should be like in singapore/dubai...
    well planned and built.

    6/Generate Self employment: co-op industries: micro: small: medium enterprises.
    no more red tape..bureaucracy.
    work like Germans: japanese: sandinavains : chinese
    with results.

    Mr. Ajit Hegde being a native did not survive more than 3 months in the post . The new commissioner also will face the music of the Mangalore real estate. If he plays to the tune he will survive. Else?
