Not a good time to open anything at this stage. Control the virus, educate people through advertisement of social distancing, hand sanitize, dont sneeze or cough open but cover your face, mask it in open conversation etc. Key is education to villagers and evan metropol city's. Once under control open slowly step by step. Look at Canada we are the lowest like New Zealand. Rule based countries have great agenda to manage the risk and mitigate as much as possible with education and advertising. India is a great nation with excellent doctors scientist not sure why it takes so much time to develop a vaccine

Now government is fully aware that virus is gone out of control therefore throw everything open. It's for the people to decide what they want. Now due to empty hundis in temples the government and temple poojaries are both become poor.

IMHO, sir, this was not the right time to open places where crowds of devotees will not be able maintain any of the safety protocol, & the infection will spread like wildfire!
Moreover, there are reports that immunity does last for more than 6-9 months & reinfection can happen; now it'll be a vicious cycle which is unavoidable till a vaccine is out!

As per my latest study, forget "Herd Immunity" ; this CORONA conundrum does not give "long term" personal immunity after initial infection ( max6-9 months); after which one is again vulnerable for reinfection, so CORONA will not leave us for a long long time; only solution is to accept it and live along with it!

Only the fittest & luckiest will survive!!

To add, not as earlier thought, this CORONA has long term implications after it's supposedly cured!

Rudy Sir, Yes... I agree with your last paragraph... Only the strongest will survive. One young man after getting completely cured, discharged from the hospital, expired after ten days... around 26 years.. But, China completely corona free na Rudy sir?
