Mangaluru: Former immigration officer, policeman Dinesh dies of cardiac arrest

Mangaluru, Sep 3: Dinesh, former immigration officer and last working as a policeman at Bunder police station, died after suffering a cardiac arrest on Thursday September 3. He was 44.

It is learnt that since lockdown, he was on leave after experiencing his first cardiac arrest. Again on Thursday, he felt pain in the chest and breathed his last a few minutes later.

He had a good service record working as an immigration officer at Mangaluru International Airport. After being transferred to Bunder police station, he became more popular among the officials and public with his friendly nature and dedicated service.

He was one of the most people friendly police personnel in the city and earned much appreciation from senior officials too.

    Sorry to hear the sad news. May God give courage to his family to bear the untimely loss. He was one of the best Immigration officials I ever met. He was so helpful and with good manners. May his soul rest in eternal peace. I miss one of the best and supportive person at Mangalore airport. God Bless his family.

    Lost a best friend, mangalore lost one of the best policeman, RIP,very nice man knows from college days ,may almighty give his family courage and patient to overcome the grip,...I hope Dpt will not live his family kids without assistance. ....
