Puttur, Mar 29: A peacock has been a regular visitor to the playground of Kepu Government Primary School, located near Kadaba in Kutruppady village, near here, for the past few days.
The peacock arrives at the playground from the nearby forest at about the same time daily. It dances for a while by fully expanding its wings to the delight of the students. It retreats to the forest after entertaining the students only to return the next morning.

Mon, Mar 29 2010Hey, a dancing peacock in the company of children. Very beautiful sight. I have encountered many peacocks in my garden but they fly away from human sight. But this is really wonderful.

Mon, Mar 29 2010Wow....... what a beautiful scene, indeed, last week I was in India, driving hillside Nirmarga road, where I could see herd of peacocks roaming around, but difficult to get closer. This is unique case, it likes children as Jesus allowed children to come closer and proclaimed the Kingdom of God belongs to children, who are selfless and innocent.

Mon, Mar 29 2010Many peacocks come & eat food from people & fields & entertain with their sounds all these years in my neighbourhood as well. But how long it will continue? I wonder as rock mining activity is going on unabated with loud blasts for more than 15 years nearby.
