Church Attack : Govt Mulls Over Extension for Somashekara Commission Inquiry

Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SB)

Bangalore, Apr 1: The state government is contemplating to extend the time given to Justice Somashekara Commission of Inquiry to submit the final report by two months. The time to submit the final report ended on Wednesday March 31.

The commission was set up to probe the church attack held in various parts of the state in September 2008. It was given a year to complete its investigation and submit the final report on November 19 2009. However, the government earlier gave an extension of three-and-a-half months to submit the report as investigation was still pending.

And now again as the period of extension has ended on Wednesday and the investigation is still pending, the government will decide on whether to extend the time of submission of time of report

This is one more trick by BJP to twist the truth and misguide the general public. This commission is like applying ointment on the wounds. Yeddi may think that with passage of time people will forget the attacks and the commission. NO Yeddi, you are wrong. I have to believe that sangh parivar is behind these church attacks. If not, Yeddi should have allocated sufficient funds for the repair to the damages caused by these attacks. But he is allocating more and more funds to mutts and temples which have not been attacked/damaged. This itself is sufficient proof of his nexus with parivar outfits. Are christians not the citizen of our state? Dont they have right to preach and practice in what they believe? Have they ever attacked and damaged others places of worships? Why christians and their institutions are vulnerbale to attacks under Yeddi's rule? Whats the puporse of this commission? To find the truth or to serve the purpose of govt? Lot more questions need to be answered by Yeddi. But let me tell you, no body will lead a peaceful life after attacking others places of worships. Even Ghazani Mohamed died a violent death. History repeats itself. Bhagwan ke lati me awaaz nahin. Uske ghar der hei magar andhera nahin. Those who drink milk die, but those who drink venom how long they live? My sympathies with the my christian brethern. May Lord bless you all.

Close this public Farce. People of Mangalore will never get justice as long as Yeddy govt. exists in Karnataka. Dragging it further will be a waste of public money because the culprits will never be punished under present circumstances.

Justice Somashekara commission or Yeddy Acharya commission ? Attacks on Minorities by majority has united us even closer. Truth will prevail...even if it take time but certainly not under present rule.
