Karwar: Obscene Video on Swamiji – Three Arrested

Karwar, Apr 2: The policemen of Gokarna police station took into custody three local persons on Thursday April 1 on charges of filming a vulgar video by a making a person in saffron robes to participate in obscene activities. It is said that the person in saffron robes was made up to resemble Sri Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji of Sri Ramachandrapur Mutt, which has been entrusted with the management of Lord Mahabaleshwar Temple in Gokarna.

The policemen made these arrests, based on a complaint filed by Ramachandrapur Mutt, Gorkarna. The policemen have also taken into their possession a computer, mobile phone and some CDS found in the possession of the arrested men. The arrested men have been identified as Balachandra Kodlekar, Shivaram Adi and Gajanan Upadhya. Kumta circle inspector of police, P A Suraj, clarified that the policemen will act further only after thoroughly examining the contents of the computer, CDs etc.

In the meanwhile, Raju Adi, convener of ‘Save Gokarna Action Forum’ that is opposing the government’s move in handing over Gokarna temple to Ramachandapur Mutt, submitted a memorandum to the district superintendent of police on Thursday. They have alleged that the policemen have unnecessarily taken away a few members of their committee with the specific purpose of harassing them.

    Dont worry, NOthing will happen to these fake or original swamis. Mr Yeddi is their patron and protector. This is a part of karnataka democracy, daily scandals, denials, allegations, denials and counter allegations. The five year of Yeddi term shall pass like this only.....
