I don't know to what extent this will help. One good thing, however, is the Congress has finally woken up from its deep slumber. But as long as Sonia and her family are controlling the whole thing, I don't see much hope. There is no dearth of talent and experienced people in the Congress. They have people like Kapil, Singhvi, Manoj Tiwari, Shashi Tharoor, Anand Sharma, Chidambaram, Salman Khurshid and so on. We are wasting the talents of such people and hoping that someone will save this country from ruin. As long as we close our eyes and elect people who are only good in making lofty and empty promises, I don't see any silver lining for our country. Things are only going from bad to worse and if we continue to turn a blind eye to the mess that is taking place around us. we will have only ourselves to blame.

Could not retain his seat in his own constituency and he is in charge of Karnataka. Still there is no proper strategy and administration which is digging bigger holes in the party.

As most of the congressees he too a polite, soft spoken and calculated orator which is quite opposite nature of a politician in order to energize any political party within and on the field. The only way to counter bjp is to gamble aggressive politics on the ground level.

The party is disintegrated and could not be able solve internal disputes ....
Dynasty and sycophants have destroyed the party ....
Better to merge with either JDS or SDPI ....

He May be good but there are a bunch of Unsuccessful leaders who need to take rest from center leadership.

Many Congress Senior leaders have got enough money to take care of their great grandchildren. They are just passing time & are not serious at all. All are busy in protecting their position.

No. I am supporting Congress. Till Rajeev Gandhi was there in Congress party ,it was on the top. But now if the remaining family members are there there, I don't think Congress will raise to it's back glory. Very disappointing.

What can this guy do, a person who cannot win a corporation election cannot motivate the cadre and local leaders, what congress needs is to build their cadre and good leaders who can win elections. JDS has better chance in Karnataka then congress, if elections are held today it will be hung assembly.

CONgress is a dead horse in state, no point in flogging it. To make matters much worse this guy is a loose cannon and holds record for loosing MLA elections in 4 states (Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi and Punjab) so making CONgress successful and Siddu or DiKeShi dream of becoming CM looks very distant now!
