Karkala, Apr 5: Places like Mudar, Bajagoly and Mala in the taluk got good rains coupled with thunder and lightning on Sunday April 4. Some other places like Hosmar, Edu, Kervashe and Miyar also got some rain, with a few other places recording light showers.
Kundapur and Udupi taluks in Udupi district did not get rains, even though thunder and lightning were experienced frequently during the last two days.
There had been no rains in Dakshina Kannada district, which is experiencing a cloudy weather since the last two days. Thunder and lightning were reported from a few places.
Napoklu and surrounding places in Kodagu district got good rains on Sunday.
