Mangalore: Poojary Appreciates Honest Services of Postal Employees

Mangalore, Apr 5: Former union minister, B Janardan Poojary, appreciated the honest and sincere services being provided to the people by the employees of the postal department. “Because of their hard work, even common people are getting good services and facilities,” he commented.

He was speaking at the inaugural of the 26th Karnataka zone conference of All India Postal Employees Union held at Adhyaksha Koragappa Memorial Hall of Kudroli Lord Gokarnanatha Temple here on Sunday April 4.

He also said that the postal employees, who work hard, are able to face competition from the private sector.

Sri Gurudevananda Swamiji of Odiyoor inaugurated the conference and delivered benedictory address. Former president of Mangalore Urban Development Authority, Suresh Ballal, former Kannada Sahitya Parishat state president, Harikrishna Punaroor, Karnataka Bank Employees Association general secretary, P R Karant, and several other leaders were present.

Postal Employees Association (Group C) Karnataka zone president, S Devapal, presided. Vishwas Kumar Das welcomed. Mahesh Kumar presented the programme.
