Dubai, Apr 8: The 11th anniversary event of Konkani Writers Forum in UAE, 'Daiji Dubai', to be hosted on April 9, 2010, has received tremendous response from the theatre lovers from all around the UAE, as all the available seats for the show have been sold-out more than two days before the show.
Stan Ageira, convener of ‘Daiji Dubai’, has informed Daijiworld that all the tickets for the show have been sold out and that no tickets will therefore, be available for sale even at the venue.
"The two-hour play, 'Kasale Grahachar Saiba' is the key entertainment event of the 11th anniversary of the forum. The members of 'Daiji Rang Mandhir' have put in lot of efforts to stage this non-stop comedy play, which reflects the concept of Dubai's 'sharing accommodation'. Those who have already reserved their tickets are requested to be at the venue by 4.30pm,” said Stan Ageira.
NRI entrepreneur, Ronald Colaco, will be the chief guest for the event. Rohan Monteiro of Property Real Estate Mangalore, and Michael D’Souza of Oasis Court Dubai, will be the guests of honour.
The 11th Daiji Dubai Annual Literary Award will be conferred on prolific Konkani writer, dramatist and critic, Lancy Pinto Nayak, who has already arrived from Kuwait.
The venue for the event Emirates Auditorium, Sheikh Zayed Road, Exit 41 on April 9.
