New Delhi, Apr 17: The inauguration of the newly built Mysore Airport and a new international terminal of Mangalore airport will be held on May 15.

This was disclosed by Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel to a delegation of Congress leaders from Karnataka here on Friday. A delegation led by State Congress unit president R V Deshpande met Patel to urge him to take steps to open these projects for commercial operation.

Though the construction of Mysore Airport completed last year, its commercial launch was put off due to lack of interest from commercial airlines. The new international terminal at Bajpe airport in Mangalore has been awaiting inauguration for the past several months.

With the current road approach, you may have to keep a lot of 108 Ambulances on stand by. The road is worse than the Ghats and with all the KL vehicles comin in and driving like its a Grand Prix or NASCAR, ur gonna have cars flyin before take off.

Finally, the date for inauguration of new terminal of Mangalore Airport has been finalized.

Whether the present management of Mangalore Airport & AAI would appreciate and publicly acknowledge the services of former director of the Mangalore Airport Mr.M R Vasudeva during the inaugural function ?

May be, it would be known only after the inauguration function of new terminal of Mangalore Airport!
