India to Send Letter to US for Access to Headley

Brasilia, April 17 (IANS) Armed with support from US President Barack Obama, India will now send a formal letter to the US for access to David Coleman Headley, one of the plotters of the Mumbai terror attacks who is in the US custody.

"We are still going through the legal process," sources said Saturday, five days after Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh raised the issue with Obama in Washington.

Obama had assured India full support for access to Headley.

"India will now send a formal letter to the US authorities seeking access to Headley. Now is the question of terms under which the US will give access to Headley," the sources said.

    Mr.Raju.. If any muslim is caught in any bad activity he is called jihadi or muslim terrorist. I just want to ask every one why these bhajrang dal peoples are not called hindu terrorists? why sandvi pragya who commited terrorist activity called hindu terrorist? why narendra modi is not called hindu terrorist? in the same way when Mr. Geroge Bush did crime why was he not called Christian terrorist. I am not pointing out on any religion. Everyone has to think before they comment. In every religion there are good as well as bad people.. it does not mean you should point out at just one religion (Islam).

    It is not a big deal as FBI had access to KASAB.This is also one of the feature of war on terror as all counties agreed to co operate each other in this matter.By the way I can't understand why gentleman RAJU crying foul on the matter about MITWA???

    raju, manglaore. Leave that job to Advani, he will do the needful when he visits Pakistan next time.
    He knows people from there closely. That will help him sell more of his books on Jinnah, in Pak.
