Dubai, Apr 18: The UAE Bunts’ 36th annual family get-together will be held Jumairah Ballroom, Crowne Plaza (Sh.Zayed Road) here on Friday May 7 from 10.30 am to 6.00 pm. 

Dr B R Shetty couple will preside over the event. M K Lokesh, ambassador of India to UAE will be the chief guest, while Dr B M Hegde will be the guest of honour.


As always the event promises to be a day full of gaiety, joy, and merriment. Led by our ‘Young Bunts’ with their lively performances that showcase their multi-faceted talent, the event will also feature skits and items that transport us to our roots and unique culture. Special attractions are traditional dances, Congregate Art of India by Dubai Bunts, traditional dances, Kaleidoscope of love by Abu Dhabi Bunts, traditional fashion show, Glam & Glitz by UAE Bunts, Kule (skeleton) Nruthya’ by UAE Bunts and traditional Pilivesha kunike by UAE Bunts.

The Little Bunts from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujairah,Ras al Khaima and Al Ain will present variety of folk dances. Popular raffles and lucky draws with lots of attractive prizes and the sumptuous lunch too are on offer.   

Active participation with the entire family and fellow Bunts is expected once again, but in much greater numbers so as to make the event a truly memorable one.
