Mangalore : 41 schools register 100 pc results in DK district in SSLC examination

Mangalore/Udupi, May 8 (DHNS): Though Dakshina Kannada district is slipped to eighth position in SSLC examination, 41 schools in the district including two government schools have secured cent per cent results. 

Out of the 31,543 students who appeared for SSLC exams from Dakshina Kannada district, 22,949 have passed (10,500 boys and 12,449 girls). Similarly, out of 16,479 students who appeared for exams in Udupi, 12,739 have passed (6,086 boys and 6,653 girls).

In Mangalore City limits, the schools which scored cent per cent results are Nobel High School, Kunjathabail; Ramakrishna High School, Bunts Hostel; St Joseph High School, Kulshekar; St Ann’s High School, Kuntikana and BGS, Kavoor.





In Mangalore taluk, eight schools have secured cent per cent results. They are NITK English medium school, Surathkal; Our Lady of Pompei English Medium School, Kaikamba; Ansar High School, Anjuman High School, Raj Academy, Ganjimutt; Nithya Sahaya Matha High School, Arkula; Holy Family High School, Surathkal and CSI English Medium School, Mulky.

In Moodbidri, Rotary English Medium School and Alva’s Kannada Medium School have secured cent per cent results. Six schools in Bantwal namely Infant Jesus English Medium School, Madankaup; Sathya Sai Loka Seva School, Alike; SVS High School, Vidyagiri; SVS High School, Devala; Balavikasa High School, Mani and Jaycee High School, Vittal have secured cent per cent results.

Schools which secured cent per cent results in Puttur are Indraprastha High School, Uppinangady; Pragathi English Medium School, Kaniyur; Pragathi Kannada medium School, Kaniyur; Sandipani High School, Narimogaru; Bushra English Medium School, Kavu; St Mary’s English Medium School, Uppinangady and Jnanodaya Bethany School, Nelyadi.

In Belthangady, four schools have secured cent per cent. They are Navodaya High School, Mundaje; SDM English Medium School, Ujire; Sacred Heart English Medium School, Madanthyar and Saraswathi High School.

Eight schools have secured cent per cent in Sullia. They are Government High School, Markanja; KVG School, Sullia; Rotary English Medium School, Sullia; Sri Bhagavan Sathya Sai School, Chokkodi; Kumaraswamy High School, Subramanya; Jnana Ganga High School, Bellare; Sneha High School, Sullia; Green View High School, Sullia and St Joseph High School, Sullia.

In Udupi

As many as 12 schools in Udupi district have secured cent per cent results in SSLC exams, of which two are aided schools and 10 are unaided schools. The district has 234 high schools. As many as 144 high schools have secured more than 80 per cent results. A total of 15 high schools have secured 40 to 50 per cent results. One school has secured below 40 per cent results. About 16,479 students have appeared for the examination. Of which, 12,739 have passed. This include 6,653 girls and 6,086 boys.
