I wish and pray that all the priests spend more time in helping the parishioners. Hopefully they take this assignment to strengthen the faith of the people and engineer in building better Christians than building better buildings. These days the agenda everywhere seems to be constructions and renovations. There are so many people who need an ear to relate their problems and seek advice. Very few times we have priests these days that in to visit families, or talk to the sick. The rate of divorce’s, suicides, and fights in neighborhoods are on a rise. But unfortunately our priests are a bit too busy in gathering funds than the lost sheep. Hopefully they understand their responsibilities better and work towards building a better place. Good luck in their future assignments.

    Dear people of God,

It is a great time awaiting the pentecost in our church. During this season we have new assistant and parish priests joining us like a fresh breaze to enliven our faith. It may sadden some of us to see our beloved priests moving away particularly those who could touch the hearts of the people, build the community, encourage and enliven the worship. We will offer them for His greater glory to enable others to have their services.

Those from Kinnigoli will feel Fr. Melwyns departure to Udupi is too early. But, the yield cannot be harvested without experienced workers. Let God's glory manifest everywhere. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost enkindle every heart with Love, Joy and Peace. Let the Church elders truly rejoice in having done their hard work and seeing the fields with 100% yield.

    GOD BLESS.

Father Apolinaris Crasta indeed did a wonderful job at Father Muller's Hospital. He will be missed very much by the patients and his well wishers. Wherever he goes my good wishes go with him. May The Good Lord guide and direct him in all his undertakings.

While on the subject of re-locations it is by means an easy job. However the transfers - have been done in the best interests of the Diocese and it is my hope and wish that all concerned will be happy in their tenures.

May the Almighty shower His Blessings Mightily on all the priests particularly the young, newly ordained ones. They will find it difficult to jel with the varied views of parishenors yet I believe the Holy Spirit will empower them mightily to do greater things than they ever thought or dreamed of....Amen to that.
I Welcome Fr. Roshan to the Cathedral parish. May he find fulfilment in his vocation here.

God Bless all us who sincerely look towards the joy of the Lords presence in our lives...Amen..Amen.

Thank you, His Holiness Bishop Aloysius, for your wise leadership and guidance in allocating so many able priests to the right Parishes. So many newly ordained Priests will appear in so many Parishes as our "Good Shepherds" of our community. Each and every Priest has so much of responsibilities as well as sacrifices to shoulder in order to serve not only the Catholics but also the society as a whole in our Secular Country. It is our daily prayer that all the Priests will guide us and help us in these changing times of the challenging world. While the life is tough all around, our Priests and Nuns have so much to dedicate thru a selfless discipline for the daily peaceful survival of mankind. May God help and bless you all so that you may continue your daily mission for the good of the world. God Bless all of us ...

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL PRIESTS GOD BLESS YOU.
WE PRAY GOD FOR YOU ALL IN OUR DAILY PRAYERS
BEING THIS PRIESTLY YEAR 2009-2010 JUNE. WE REQUEST ALL THE PRIESTS SPEND MORE TIME IN SACRAMENT OF CONFESSIONS WHICH JESUS HAS GIVEN ONLY TO PRIESTS. AND STRENGTHEN THE FAITH. ( our HOLY FATHER asked in the beginning of year.. also reminding many times.) ALL OTHER JOBS LET THE PRIESTS ALLOW FULLY TO THE PARISHNERS. NO USE IF THEY SPEND MORE HOURS IN OUTSIDE JOB AND BEAUTIFY THE CHURCH BUILDING. THAN SPIRITUAL. LET US SPEND MORE HOURS IN FAITH. LIKE ADORATION OF BLESSED SACRAMENT. HOLY ROSARY,RETREAT, BIBLE READING QUIZ FOR CHILDREN. SKIT DURING CHILDREN MASS ( INSTED OF LONG HOMILY BECAUSE small children under 10 . this will encourage reading bible & cant forget the skit life long. SO WE CAN HAVE CHANGES IN OUR PARISHES. PRIESTS DO NOT SPEND PRECIOUS TIME IN RENOVATION OF CHURCH AND HOUSES, HOUSES TO THE POOR.LET THE PEOPLE( PARISHENER) DO. OR DONT BOTHER THIS YEAR SPECIALLY... YEAR OF PRIESTS. CONFESSION TO ALL PEOPLE BEFORE JUNE 2010 . WISHING A RECORD PEOPLE CONFESSED THIS YEAR.OUR FAITH TEACHES US ONLY PRIEST HAS GIVEN AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE OUR SINS. I FOUND NO CHURCHES IN MANGALORE DIOS. PRIESTS IN CONFESSIONAL.. MANY TIMES PEOPLE REQUESTS FOR... HOW CAN WE HAVE GRACES FROM GOD. FIRST WE MUST FORGIVE, THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY ...WE CAN SEE JESUS. CALL NEIGHBOUR PARISH PRIEST ONCE A WEEK FOR CONFESSION.SPEND MANY HOURS CONFES. SHALL WE HAVE... REPLY FROM OUR PRIESTS
