Bengaluru: BJP prepares to remain aggressive in upcoming elections

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 16: The BJP is preparing to own aggression without allowing the tempo created by several election victories to die down. It is preparing ground to continue to be alert and belligerent for the approaching elections without giving in to complacency caused by the bypoll victories.

The government has taken certain important decisions before the official time table for the upcoming bypolls to Belagavi Lok Sabha, Basavakalyan and Maski are announced. It is raring to take on its competitors head on.

B S Yediyurappa

Chief minister B S Yediyurappa has approved the creation of Marathi Development Authority and set aside Rs 50 crore to set up the authority. He also has given his nod for the modernisation programmes of Maski canal left and right bank canals which was pending since the last two years.

Basavakalyan assembly constituency has 40,000 Maratha voters. They can tilt the result to one side. They also have considerable say in Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency. In Maski, however, their presence is not considerable.

Yediyurappa’s son and state vice president of the party, B Y Vijayendra, held a Maratha community meeting at Bidar. Within days thereafter, an announcement to set up an authority for them has been made. As promised, the government order also came out within 24 hours.

As part of the election strategy, it was also ensured that Ramesh Katti was elected unopposed to the post of the president of Belagavi District Central Cooperative Bank. The announcement of grants to different Maths and religious institutions also was a part of the election strategy, political pundits assert.

Organizational activity has been given a boost in Maski and Basavakalyan assembly constituencies. Tactics used successfully in Sira and K R Pet assembly constituencies are being used here. Vijayendra has been moving around Basavakalyan constituency while state general secretary of the party, N Ravikumar and team have been meeting workers, communities, and leading personalities. They also have activated WhatsApp groups, booth level committees etc.

    what i understand is
Congress introduced EVM in India just to manipulate and rule for next 100 year
congress won in 2009 just because of EVM, not in reality.
congress looted coutries 75000 crore Rs by procuring EVM despite knowing its no use.
Rajastha, Chattisgar, Puducheri, Maharastra and Punjab govt is not elected by People but elected by EVM.
congress is contesting in election just to blame EVM as they know they will not get deposit back also.
Congress will keep on crying EVM for next 100 years (if not dissolved)

The NDA juggernaut, is crisscrossing every hurdle, leaving behind the breathless UPA, Mahaghatbandan, bewildered and• disoriented !! The memoirs of Ex President Obama, on the prince of INC, has virtually cast the cat among the pigeons, brewing a virtual storm in the tea cup !!! This summarizes the hopelessness, in the opposition parties... These state elections are mere footsteps, to the impending pinnacle, which will be in 2024 general election !!!!

No one is invincible. 2024 election will be fought on basis of achievements and given the fact that Modi is presiding over doomed economy things will not be as easy as bhakts think. Voters give every party a few chances, but if the government consistently fails to deliver results and relies solely on propaganda then they will be booted out despite campaigns like BJP's 2004 'India Shining' campaign.

Moreover, winning elections through paid propaganda with the funding of Businessmen will not take BJP too far as questions will be raised about the deliverance of promises. As of now Modi only specializes in divisive and vendetta politics

Don't limit your aggressiveness only up to winning elections. This is what is happening with Central Govt. and rest of the states ruled by BJP.
