Well done BHA. Nice to see hockey coming back into action in Bahrain. Being a former hockey player of Bahrain's champion team St. Barths Club I am really pleased to see the new activities. During those days we had top players like my good friend and team mate Rocky Mascarenhas, Johnson Dharmai, Sydney Rozario, Omar Hyatt and the famous Bahraini star Salim who had the ability to dribble his way to the goal single handedly. The past memories are great especially when Fr. Eugene (now at Jebel Ali church) used to pick the St. Barths team in his huge car on every friday and yell in joy when we won trophies after trophies for the team.

Let me wish the office bearers of the BHA good luck in their spirit to revive hockey in Bahrain. The BHA can always take assistance from experienced officials like Rocky Mascarenhas, D. Goveas and Ronald D'Souza who are veterans in Bahrain now having seen hockey at its best during those days.
