Puttur, Nov 20: A video of a ‘fake’ astrologer who duped people of thousands of rupees, has gone viral on social media, recently.
Reportedly, it is said that a person from Mandya, posing as an astrologer, cheated several people. The incident was reported in Uppinangady.
It is also said that when people came to know the astrologer was fake and cheated many by availing cash from them, they rushed to his office and demanded him to repay their cash. It is also said that the fake astrologer also repaid their cash through Google pay.
In the video, a woman can be heard stating that she has paid money to astrologer by mortgaging the gold of family members.
According to police sources, no victims have approached the police station to register complaint against the fake astrologer.
